Role - Financial Data Analyst - Consulting Assignment
Location - Long Island City, NY
Duration - 12 Month Assignment (possibility of extension)
Rate - Negotiable
Job Discription:
Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining independently. Designs, develops, implements and maintains business solutions. Works with main clients and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements.
Work experience 5-7 years
Skill set as follows:
Project management experience – to create, maintain and track plans, follow up on deliverables, set up and conduct meetings,
Microsoft Office skills (Projects included) and preferably Access
Data reconciliation and analysis skills (of different financial reports – see next item for more details)
Basic finance background – understanding of ledger, trial balance and other financial statements especially in a finance industry
