CRM & Communications Manager (20-24h part-time)

42 Wolfsburg is a higher education NGO/start-up educating up to 600 students to become cutting-edge techies and software engineers in a practice-based peer-learning environment. 42 Wolfsburg is based on the internationally successful concept of Ecole 42 which was founded 2013 in Paris and today trains 18‘000+ students in 54 schools all over the world. Tasks

As a CRM & Communications Manager, you’ll be supporting the Marketing Team with a wide variety of communication focused and marketing-oriented tasks, these include but are not limited to:

• Sending out mailings via tools such as Mailchimp and set up automated workstreams to keep applicants in the funnel engaged.
• Plan and organize open days and FAQ-events to make potential new students excited to join 42 Wolfsburg.
• Help plan and organize our selection months, communicate with the candidates and make sure that everyone is onboarded. This also includes hosting our introduction meetings.
• Identify interesting stories within and outside of the school, write them down in articles and send them to relevant press contacts in order to maintain constant press coverage.
• Communicate with followers and potential applicants, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor user reviews/feedback.
• Own smaller projects and assist the team with ongoing projects.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Mailchimp Tool and/ or other CRM/Mailing Tools,
• Familiarity with web design and content management systems (mainly Wordpress),
• Effective and charming communication skills in English and German,
• Ideally, an existing network of press contacts in the IT fields / the region surrounding the school,
• Positive attitude towards working with prospective students from all sorts of backgrounds and colleagues,
• Entrepreneurial mindset and can do attitude; ownership of tasks and projects; balanced and patient character,
• High energy, positive approach to life and
• Able to learn fast and independently.

The initial contract is limted to 1 year with the perspective of extension.

Candidates need to have a valid work permit for Germany and must be willing to work on-site once a week.
