(Jr) Social Media Manager - part time

42 Berlin - Software Engineering NGO set to make advanced coding education accessible to everyone is looking for a Social Media manager to support our awesome Marketing Team. We are looking for someone who could run our Social Media Organic Marketing on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and provide basic design/videography support to the rest of the team.

Tasks

- Managing communication on Instagram, TikTok & YouTube

- Basic design tasks

- Basic post related videography

- Event related content production

- Interviewing students and posting their stories

Requirements

• Great understanding of social media
• Good sense of esthetics
• Experience with design tools like Canva, Figma, Ai, PS
• Experience with photography and videography
• Good understanding of social media marketing performance metrics
• Fluent/Native English and at least B2 level of German
• Basic understanding of programming in C or any other language
• Independence, creativity, proactive communication & an eye for detail
• Have a valid work permit to work in Germany
• First week of the job will be a 1 week coding challenge - part of the 42 Piscine

The starting date for this position is 15.01.2024. The initial contract is 6 months, 20h/week with the perspective of extension and increasing working hours.

This position will require onsite presence on our 42 Berlin campus of at least 15h/w
