Tasks
Purpose:
- To be responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of these Food Ingredients categorie to maximize consumer appeal.
- Relationships with vendors and product range management will also be part of the duties.
- The goal is to increase sales and profitability of business to drive sustainable growth.
Knowledge:
Proven experience as category manager in Colours Food Ingredients
- Solid knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Full comprehension of marketing and sales principles.
Responsibilities :
- To analyse data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends in these ingredients
- To provide clients with customer focussed insights regarding the product and category
- To develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products
- To foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
- To support appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands
- To determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility
- To liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
- To collaborate with the sales team to expand product categories
- To make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory
- To assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category.
- To oversee a team of analysts and other support staff.
Requirements
Education & Relevant Experience
- B.Sc., MBA, 10 year experience in similar industry
- english fluent and if possible italian
