HR Generalist Internship

Tasks

Position Summary

Throughout this three-month unpaid internship, the HR Generalist will assist in the administrative and cultural processes of our team. The HR Generalist’s additional duties will be to:

• Effectively operate the company's People & Culture activities to support management
• Contribute to the development of a robust culture through role modeling the company values and the behaviors which drive our culture
• Engaging with the teams, motivating them and helping to raise performance levels
• Aiding in the hiring process, which includes coordinating and posting job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing job interviews/ onboarding sessions where necessary
• Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed
• Ensuring culture & engagement projects are implemented, reviewed, and improved according to trends
• Occasionally undertake tasks outside the normal scope of your job or this job post

Requirements

Education:

• Possessing or pursuing a university degree in Human Resource Management or a related field

Experience:

• Initial experience in an HR role (preferred) - such as experience in employee onboarding, learning & development, labor law

• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Google Products
• Initial experience in start-ups or agencies (preferably in the health and wellness sector)
• Experience with remote work

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, business proficiency in English is a must.
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with the team
• The capability of motivating and inspiring others while comfortably taking initiative
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage competing projects with tight deadlines
• The ability to think creatively paired with a curiosity and the desire to learn
• Interest and drive for continued research on HR topics to contribute and improve company practices
• Strong community building skills with a deep sense of cultural awareness and curiosity
• Excellent people skills, while being constantly compassionate and emotionally intelligent
• Ability to offer and receive constructive feedback, and apply any suggested changes from the Team Manager efficiently and promptly

Your internet connectivity is sufficiently maintained, allowing you to hold online meetings and accomplish tasks.

Location

The location of Solavieve GmbH is in Heidelberg, Germany. However, this position is fully remote and can be performed from any location.
