Deskside Services Description of JOB
Deskside Break/Fix Incidents (Which are out of L1 scope)
Installation of IT devices (Desktops, Laptops, Printers, System Devices etc.)
Adhoc IMAC requests.. Special projects where support is required
Conference Room and Video devices support and coordination with Vendors where required.
Install of Image, Configuration of Laptops/Desktops, driver for various systems like scanners, printers and manage the Image, Patch the systems with latest security updates where required by coordinating with 3rd Party
Capability of creating a Desktop/Laptop Images for installation and configuration with proper testing available with beta versions
Understanding of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Move the devices within the facility or among multiple facilities of (Hardware Movements)
Add New Hardware/ Install Applications on the end user devices
Replace Hardware/Peripherals
Mobile computing device configuration where needed (Android/Apple phone Setup and Troubleshooting)
Coordinate Third Party Repair where needed
Printer Support/Setup as per warranty status agreed by with Manufacturers, repair or replace with the Corporate office locations
VIP/Executive Support on call during the off peak and weekends where needed and escalated by Service Desk
Identification of items which have reached end of life with appropriate tracking
Systems in scope:
Office Users and laptop/Desktop images
Laptop images (Image, configure and Dispatch to the Location)
Home Users PC/laptop images (Image, configure and Dispatch to the Location)
