Data Architect

• Lead risk management data lake architecture and technical team; design, create and enhance application architecture and assist the client to shape their architectural vision and roadmap plan.
• Design and instruct the solution framework to the solution development team.
• Create POCs for the client to help them understand the proposed solution and also drive the solution meetings with Customers.
• Understand the User Stories and provide accurate work load estimates.
• Work in a consultative fashion to improve communication, collaboration, and alignment amongst teams inside and outside of the organization.
• Key Project Tasks:
• Understand client reports in scope.
• Work with report owners to understand source systems that provide data.
• Map out the current state ecosystem.
• Describe pain points.
• Define gaps in data needed versus data already in EODC (end of day contract).
• Work with an architect to define the target state.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience with risk technology projects, especially involving big data and data lake implementation (any cloud).
• Industry recognised advanced Architect Certifications.
• Must have implemented projects in Risk Management domain, with demonstrable knowledge and experience of at least 4 projects.
• Knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL , Java, C++ will be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge or certifications on Azure/ GCP.
• Knowledge on XML, SOAP and REST APIs.
• Experience in working in the SCRUM Team.
• Good understanding of Agile Methodologies.
