Location: 100% on site in Santa Clara, CA
Travel requirement:
The first 2 weeks of the engagement, the selected candidate will be required to travel to Santa Clara to get acclimated with the account, the people, the environment and overall general orientation.
After the first 2 weeks, travel will be periodic as needed. No set cadence has been established, but probably around one time per quarter (Monday to Thursday).
Travel expenses will be covered by the client.
Please confirm your candidates are okay with travelling as needed.
Work hours: 8am-5pm PT daily
US Citizenship - Not Required
Duration: 6-12 months temp to perm for high performers.
Interviews: There will be 2 or 3 rounds of interviews.
1st will be over the phone with the Client hiring manager.
2nd will be over the phone with the Client Account Executive
3rd will be Skype Video for remote candidates or Face to Face for locals with the Client AE and an end Client representative.

Summary:
The Web and Digital Applications Analyst is primarily responsible for providing subject matter expertise to support, manage, and enhance the City’s Web and Digital properties – City Websites, Intranet (Sharepoint), O365, Social Media and other related applications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, CIS, MIS or equivalent.
Web and Digital domain area expertise required in the following:
Web Content Management, Sharepoint
Social Media domain experience strongly desired
At least 5+ years’ experience working as a Web/Digital application analyst or similar
Microsoft Office 365 desired
Knowledge of Responsive Design, Content Strategy, Search Engine Optimization, Cross Channel Social Media Optimization, Data Visualization / Dashboards, Analytics
Sharepoint administration experience highly desired including migration to O365 Sharepoint Online
Knowledge of HTML5, Java Script, CSS, IIS
Knowledge of security – PCI, SSL
Ability to communicate with end users and vendors
Understanding of client server technologies and relational database concepts desired
Knowledge of SDLC methodology desired
Ability to manage small projects/upgrades.
Leadership skills – ability to mentor staff, track workplans to ensure timely delivery of functionality.
Responsibilities:
Typically works under the direction of the Applications Program Manager.
Respond to Customer Service Requests as required.
Receive Service Requests relating to fixes, fails, and proposed system changes.
Perform initial troubleshooting and support identification of root cause of Incidents.
Escalate Incidents as appropriate or to other third party vendor as required.
Follow through on processing Incidents and drive resolution.
Produce timely Incident reports documenting system downtime.
Provide data analysis for Web metrics.
Monitor websites for issues such as quality, accessibility and work with departments to resolve.
Follow change control procedures.
Develop and maintain technical and operational procedure and work instruction documentation.
Act as a liaison between the Customer and other third party vendors.
Create and track Service Requests from inception to completion.
Create and track enhancement requests from inception to completion,
Create test plans / cases for enhancements, and coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing.
Coordinate with other service towers to ensure application technical requirements are met. •
