Key Responsibilities

The Purchaser is responsible for the replenishment of a portfolio of products from a specific grouping of suppliers. He/she will hold responsibility for the timely execution of purchase orders, therefore ensuring the maintenance of optimum inventory levels. 

• Maintain an optimum level of inventory for a portfolio of suppliers
• Analyze and take action on the recommendations of company Supply Reports
• Be responsible for tracking orders with suppliers
• Understand supplier service variables and provide effective solutions in order to maintain at satisfactory levels
• Address potential service issues with supplier base portfolio
• Work collaboratively with sales, purchasing, warehouse, and product management teams in order to produce/maintain a state-of-the-art experience for our customers
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel.

What We Are Looking For

• Relevant purchasing experience, with an added bonus if within the furniture manufacturing industry
• Developed analytical, planning, and organizing skills
• Coachable, proactive, strong work ethic
• Experience with an ERP system
• University degree in Logistics & Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or similar a plus.
