Role - Senior Financial Systems Analyst
Rate - $59.66/HR on W2 (OT past 40 hours = $89.49/HR)
Duration - 12 Month Assignment (possible extension)
Location - OFALLON, MO
• Assist in the design and utilization of data repositories and reporting tools that will be used to organize, analyze and report the Real Estate Lending financial and mortgage data.
• Leverage existing tools (e.g. Microsoft Office (Access/Excel) and SAS to optimize existing business processes, pain points, and reporting
• Develop key knowledge of specific mortgage processes and their related financial workflows, working collaboratively with business process owners to identify system and process improvements
• Plan, manage and execute the functional testing of new systems and enhancements to existing systems
• Recommend modifications to established business practices and procedures; create/enhance end user documentation.
• Partner with IT in the implementation and support of Finance-related technology projects and initiatives related to the transformation of mortgage servicing to a third party servicer
• Independently manage assigned projects from initiation through execution and delivery
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years' experience in a systems role supporting Finance departments (experience working with packaged financial software applications and/or data warehouse solutions a plus). The candidate should have experience in supporting business professionals in Accounting/Finance and a proven track record in successful business technology solution development, project management and collaboration across multiple teams.
• Bachelor's degree required, a major in Computer Science or related field is preferred
• An MBA or CPA is considered a plus, knowledge of financial system/accounting concepts required.
Mortgage industry experience preferred
• Expert knowledge of Access, Excel with proficiency in MS Access outside of VBA. SAS proficiency preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL and relational database technology
• Proven ability to rapidly learn existing applications
• Strong project management/ project methodology and delivery skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, taking initiative as necessary
• Demonstrate strong client focus and relationship management skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an attention to detail
