Optimal Field Services, a Crest Industries company, is looking to add an experienced Estimator to our team. The Estimator for Optimal Field Services will be responsible for estimating work of a particular project. The Estimator gathers proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. They also estimate labor, material, and time requirements in order to compute the overall cost of the project.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Explore documentation in order to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements.
Select, measure and tract important metrics.
Perform complex analysis of collected data and metrics.
Prepare relevant and reliable forecasts.
Conduct complex risk analysis activities.
Create and present reports to upper management.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with the key vendors.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Engineering or Construction related degree preferred.
Advanced knowledge of estimating strategies and techniques.
Thorough understanding of construction, contracts, and terminology.
