Role - Sr. Process Owner
Rate - $88.93/HR on W2 (OT past 40 hours = $133.40/HR)
Duration - 6 Months (possible extension)
Location - Irving, TX
The Inter-Affiliate Global Process Owner (IA GPO) provides accounting and booking guidance, control, support and governance for all Client business units related to inter-affiliate transactions and processes.
Core global processes include 1. Internal Outsourcing Management – TPM for Internal Affiliates
2. Transaction Management and Cash Settlements
3. Financial and Contractual (Genesis) Close (Month End and Daily)
Many of these processes are fragmented or performed in a decentralized manner. To assess current capabilities, identify process gaps, and set the future strategic direction the following items are within the scope of this assignment
1. Inventory of all related policies
2. End to End mapping of key or selected processes
3. Process Gap identification and presentation of prioritized recommendations
4. Creation of a taxonomy of the activities and related activity requirements
5. Creation of an initial set of metrics along with the creation of sustainable processes to produce metrics on a monthly reporting basis
Expected deliverables include documentation of the reviewed processes, prioritized list of gaps with related recommendations, process requirements document, process taxonomy, metrics reporting templates with a documented process to repeat monthly and local regulatory reporting matrix.
Above will be achieved working with the IA GPO team but it is expected that the team will add value, ideas, and process review skills to the effort.
Qualifications • Must be able to organize meetings and set agendas to review processes
• Must be able to review existing process documentation augmented from interviews and create high-level process flows (Blue works preferred)
• Accounting degree preferred, but not required
• Proficient in MS Office with Advanced Access and Excel skills (including pivot tables and vlookups)
• Proficient in MS Access would be helpful but not required
• Well-developed analytical skills
• Communication skills including excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Must possess a strong sense of accountability (will be required to take responsibility for meeting key milestones to ensure timely execution) •
