Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Fresno, CA.
Position Overview: Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong team management skills and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, offering a chance to contribute to the company's mission of delivering exceptional construction services.
Job Function: Manage multiple construction and preconstruction projects, leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results while exceeding client expectations. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and enhance the company's reputation.
· Supervise and guide the activities of Project Managers, Engineers, and Coordinators in contract administration, change orders, and procurement.
· Authorize and approve project transactions, purchase requisitions, and change requests.
· Collaborate with Superintendents to plan and coordinate project activities effectively.
· Monitor project safety, productivity, profitability, schedule compliance, and client satisfaction.
· Coordinate with General Contractors and design teams to ensure project success.
· Manage subcontractor relationships, procurement, and change order negotiations.
· Ensure timely completion and organization of project documentation, including daily reports and compliance records.
· Act as the primary liaison with owners, clients, and contractors, negotiating change orders and resolving issues.
· Conduct OAC meetings and maintain a safe and respectful work environment.
· Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
· Foster a “Zero Accident Culture” by developing and implementing safety protocols in line with OSHA standards.
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
· 7-10 years of project management experience in HVAC, mechanical, piping, plumbing, industrial, and sheet metal sectors.
· Strong understanding of vendor relationships and construction industry practices, including design/build processes.
· Proficiency in construction cost control, scheduling, estimating, and engineering principles.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong leadership capabilities.
