As a VIP Ideation Leader (TCO), you will meet and plan with cross functional partners across R&D, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, etc. to lead cost-savings VIP events. Your primary responsibilities will be to lead execution of pre-work, planning, and facilitation of ideation events. These may include events that are specific to review of devices (VAVE), commodities (electronics, metals, plastics, etc.), or plant by plant costs.

What you'll be doing
Manage ideation event calendar to identify VIP opportunities for Technical Cost Out (TCO) team.
Plan and facilitate/lead ideation events including Value Engineering events, commodity specific events, and plant specific initiatives.
Execute pre-work activities including attaining existing cost breakdowns, marketing feedback, sourcing strategies, as well as aligning with required groups and team members for participation in scheduled events.
Compile event data and develop report out presentations, finalize idea/action trackers, and ensure ideas are transferred to TCO for ownership.
Facilitate ongoing pre-work meetings to ensure planned event dates are met.
Schedule events, meeting areas/rooms, coordinate meals for events, etc.
What you'll bring
5+ years of applied project management and/or event planning experience.
Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, or Engineering Discipline preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, & Excel as well as other Office Suite applications is required.
Prior SAP experience preferred (specifically ability to pull costs, BOMs, DIRs/specifications, etc.)
Ability to communicate and negotiate with a diverse group of partners in Marketing, R&D, QA, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Operations.
Strong communication skills including experience communicating with senior leadership. •
