Commerical HVAC Project Manager

Commercial HVAC Project Manager position open in Greenville, SC, to oversee a day-to-day operations of commerical HVAC projects to ensure efficient delivery of materials, equipment, labor, and subcontractors during commercial construction projects in the Upstate.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in mechanical contracting or HVAC installations on the commerical side
• Knowledge of HVAC mechanical, air conditioning, heating, ventilation OR plumbing systems
• Desire to move into a Project Management role AND ready for training.
• Ability to learn Vendor Management, Subcontractor Management, Estimating, Project Management

• Develop a preliminary project schedule and submit to customers and/or project managers for input into an overall project schedule for the project. Help to establish anticipated manpower requirements for the project and communicate such to management for manpower planning and recruiting purposes 
• Work with vendors to procure all prime and rough material for project along with any subcontractors and leased equipment required to support the work
• Ensure all material, equipment, and manpower arrive at job
• On design/build projects, aid the prime project manager(s) with the direction, review, and approval of relative system designs, costing, and changes
• Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment
• Preparation of budgets, support bid activities, and assist with contract negotiations activities with customer. Lead negotiation activities with subcontractors in the development of subcontract agreements for the subject work
