Job Title - Reporting Technical Lead - IT

- Lead solution architectural strategy within the program and projects
- Lead the technical development and data integration efforts on solution delivery projects within the Sales Organization
- Stay abreast of tools and technologies to influence IT strategy so that it provides best usage opportunities for business
- Partner with and influence IT and business team members to drive solution delivery
- Partner with and influence various IT organizations (e.g. Global Commercial Operations, BI/Analytics Capability, Vendors) to understand the appropriate menu of technologies and tools, and then leverage for solution delivery efforts
- Ensure adherence to appropriate quality standards and risk-based decision making for all delivery efforts
- Ensure successful transition of applications to service management team through planning and knowledge transfer
- Achieve technical proficiency in the core tools used by the solution services team (e.g. SQL, Force, Tableau, Informatica, etc.)
- Develop expertise of processes and data used by business functions within the US Affiliate
Key Responsibilities: - Plan and set technical direction for solution delivery projects
- Understand the key elements of the reporting program, related data and business usage
- Develop technical requirements and solution designs
- Ensure solutions align with business and IT strategic initiatives
- Responsible for system testing, ensuring effective resolution of defects, timely discussion around business issues and appropriate management of resources relevant to data and integration
- Ensure system design and development adheres to quality and compliance requirements
- Responsible for the system performance and user experience of solutions
- Execute against the release schedule relevant to the US Business IT Platforms
- Partner with and influence vendor resources on solution development to ensure understanding of data and technical direction for solutions
- Partner with other Lilly USA IT teams to define operating model and work as a team
- Partner with IT Technical Strategist when making architectural decisions
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT solution delivery
