Senior IAM Engineer - Lead

• The CIAM team within Gallagher is a focused group of individuals building the organization-wide CIAM practices and services.
• The members of the team are expected to be individual contributors and leaders at the same time, where everyone takes the responsibility for the success of the initiative, and continuously wear different hats.
• We are building a service that will be consumed by other application developers from different parts of the organization, as well as from outside the organization, to incorporate IAM and Profile Management services inside their applications.
• As a Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer/Architect, you will be designing, building, configuring, and managing the full life-cycle of software/API with automation tools in the Azure environment.
• Play a key role as a leader and individual contributor on complex projects.
• Provide solution consulting to the CIAM API development team with all necessary aspects of CI/CD, and secure development process, as well as manage the release cycle through and automated pipeline with quality gateways.
• Position offered will be of a Senior Engineer or an Architect, depending on the experience and expertise of the person.
• Irrespective of the position, the role will perform design and hands-on development/ configuration tasks.

• Development of the full life cycle of software or applications with automation tools in the Azure environment
• Search for the most optimal technologies and tools for creating an application or software
• Analysis of available technological solutions
• Search and elimination of errors
• Incorporating the best DevOps capabilities into development
• Integration of solutions for continuous deployment
• Work on the creation of scalable CI/CD pipelines
• Incorporate automated testing at different levels
• Direct and monitor less experienced resources and coordinate development tasks for any scope project.
• Prepare and manage the technical component of project plans, create modular tasks, prepare effort estimate and test plan, manage integration with other internal and external solution components.
• Increase efficiency and maintainability incorporating scripting and automation whenever appropriate.
• Provides L3/L4 support to operations teams to restore operations during P1 events and triage functional, performance, data quality issues

• You should be a self-starter and self-motivated, who does not fear going into unfamiliar territories, who does not mind taking ownership, and who is both opinionated and agreeable at the same time.

• Understanding of Azure cloud computing services and cloud computing delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
• Strong scripting or programming skills for automating tasks (PowerShell/Bash)
• Knowledge and experience with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gitlab etc.
• Knowledge and experience in Infrastructure as Code (at least one of ARM Templates/ Bicep/ Terraform)
• Hands-on experience in using Microsoft Azure Cloud services
• Strong knowledge about Git and branching
• Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Lint
• Experience in using Microsoft Azure Cloud services
• Strong problem solving and communication skills

• Experience in systems automation and systems engineering
• Hands-on experience in Azure DevSecOps
• Azure DevOps Security related certification
• Azure Fundamentals certification or any other AZ certificate

• 5 years of exp in Microsoft Azure Cloud services
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gitlab etc
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Lint
• Understanding of Azure cloud computing services and cloud computing delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
• Strong scripting or programming skills for automating tasks (PowerShell/Bash)
