Role : Senior Linux HPC System Administrator
Role Description : HPC Administrator would need to have at least 6+ years of experience with HPC cluster
and application support.
Experience : 6-8 years
Location : Bangalore

Roles and Responsibilities:

Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and administration of Linux HPC clusters (compute, storage, and network) and applications in support of CAE environments.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex RHEL OS, application and HPC cluster technical problems.
Interact with hardware and software vendors for external support.
Develop and maintain technical solution documents (TSD) and standard operating procedures(SOP).

Required Skills:

Experience providing support for Linux HPC clusters.
Good working knowledge in IBM Platform LSF job scheduler.
Experience in configuring, managing and optimizing Lustre parallel file systems (LPFS).
Good working knowledge on high-performance networks such as Infiniband, and with network management.
Extensive understanding of infrastructure technologies including server, storage, network and virtualization.
Ability to perform complex performance analysis including system processes, I/O subsystems, networks, Infiniband and related components.
Good working knowledge of one or more scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
Experience with installation and configuration of system management, monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Splunk .
Experience with cluster Management , monitoring and reporting such as xCAT and Client CMU.
Closely work with business teams to understand the requirements and provide support as needed.
Good understanding of the flow of NIS+, LDAP authentication mechanism in linux environments.
Experience with installation of Linux, Apache, MySQL,MongoDB, and PHP environments.

Desired Skills:

Experience configuring, installing and troubleshooting MPI and OpenMPI is preferred.
Experience managing VMWare virtualization platforms.
Experience integrating systems or designing solutions for HPC workloads.
