We are seeking a Senior Producer to work on our next AAA title.  You will work closely with UX/UI team. Help facilitate communication, support development efforts and help resolve roadblocks not only when they come to your attention, but before they become a reality.  Come make great games with us and become a part of our Production team!

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of high level initiatives and work with all departments to complete goals
  • Champion all aspects of UX and UI development from design, to engineering to art and implementation
  • Curate and maintain UX and UI related documentation
  • Take initiative to identify problems, establish facts, and propose solutions
  • Gather estimates and work with developers to evaluate feature complexity and risk
  • Maintain close communication with department leads and take notes during meetings as needed
  • Balance day to day maintenance with long-term planning; need to recognize that production is not all about fighting fires
  • Interface with other teams and departments that have UX related dependencies as part of their overall design.  
  • Establish and communicate production estimates, including estimates for when targets will be hit
  • Get to know your team: pace, velocity, progress, ownership.  Know what a critical change can do to the schedule and work with the team to determine what is best for the game

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in the games industry
  • Experience with scheduling tools and managing a project budget
  • Experience in risk analysis and mitigation
  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies
  • Excellent project management skills and verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all individuals; stays calm and focused under pressure
  • Capable of multitasking and managing several important items at once, without allowing anything to be lost in the process
  • Must be able to effectively communicate risks and obstacles both to managed team members, as well as Studio Management

Preferences

  • Shipped at least 1 AAA title
  • Experience working with remote studios and contractors
  • Excellent people skills including the ability to motivate people and inspire their creative talents
  • Strong passion for playing games
  • Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities, as assigned by senior management
  • Quick learner, able to pick up new tools and technologies

The estimated base pay range for this role is: $115,000 - $155,000 USD
