Video Production Specialist
*** is looking for a Video Production Specialist to join our in-house video production team. You will be working directly with our in-house Director of Photography, capturing compelling sizzle videos of our events, managing our extensive video archives, preparing footage for seamless editing experiences, and maintaining a vast array of professional video production equipment. As a member of the video production team, you will assist in the filming of all types of video content, including customer testimonials, client sizzle reels, explainer videos, internal promotional videos, social media first videos, live events, interviews, recurring series, special projects and much more. The ideal candidate is hard-working, creative and a quick learner. We are looking for passion for video production and a great attitude to fit into our *** MarketSite team of creative collaborators.
The candidate must be willing to work five days a week in-person in our Times Square office in NYC.
Responsibilities Include:
• Operate as secondary videographer and production support for our in-house Director of Photography.
o Camera operating.
o Setting up lighting equipment.
o Mic’ing talent.
• Training to operate as primary videographer for daily *** bell ceremonies and other events, capturing documentary-style footage.
• Training to handle all production aspects of video, from lighting, audio, directing, and camera work, to video and sound editing.
• Prepare footage for editing: syncing multi-camera shoots, basic color matching, and organizing footage.
• Handle media management, backing up and organizing all captured content as well as managing our large video archive.
• Manage and maintain our extensive range of professional video production equipment.
• Positive attitude, equally comfortable working solo or as a part of a team.
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated passion and dedication to the craft of video production.
• Prior experience in video production, media management, and video editing is considered advantageous.
• Proficiency or familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro is a distinct advantage.
• Strong emphasis on collaboration, with a commitment to fostering positive team dynamics.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, combined with a solution-driven mindset.
• While professional experience is valued, the emphasis is on one's passion for the industry and the willingness to work cohesively within a team environment.
