WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
The Senior Video Production Manager at Box oversees all aspects of video production, both in-house and on-location. They possess extensive experience in video production, with a focus on managing complex video projects and teams. The Sr. Video Production Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of video projects, including leading/managing studio productions, field shoots, agency collaborations and budget management.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Production:
Shoot Tier 2 videos at Box Studios in RWC.
Provide comprehensive oversight of all elements of video production within the Production Studio in RWC.
Assume the role of Senior Video Producer/Director while in the studio, effectively leading/directing talent and crew, all while making the talent feel at ease and comfortable.
Generate detailed pre-production documentation for all in-studio and in-field video shoots, including scripting, production schedules, and call sheets.
Organize pre-production calls and technical checks with in-studio speakers before each video production, ensuring the speakers feel prepared upon their arrival to the studio.
Organize the logistics and aquisition of local and out-of-state contracted video professionals for each project.
Oversee the procurement of filming gear and equipment for each shoot, sourcing and renting as necessary.
Demonstrate expertise in lighting, video, audio, and technical direction, operating the studio independently when required.
Serve as the Senior Video Producer on in-field location shoots, such as Box Customer Stories, leading crew and directing internal/external speakers, making them feel at ease and comfortable.
Work closely with on-site customers during pre-production, establishing production schedules, accurate timelines, and fostering positive relationships leading up to the shoot.
Ensure video content remains on brand while in-field, identifying suitable shooting locations, and serving as the main point of contact for crew and customers.
Edit and manage all post production media, collaborating with internal stakeholders to finalize video content.
Organize and store all post production video content to be used as needed for future use.
Management:
Manage video budget, review Statements of Work (SOWs) and get them approved for every project as needed.
Oversee the allocation and expenditure of funds per project and sign off on contract PO’s.
Efficiently manage all agency video content, determining the scope and scale of each project.
Oversee the development of creative briefs for agency content, such as Boxworks Sizzles, Pump-Up's, and Invision content.
Lead/manage the scheduling of all agency video content, overseeing work-back schedules and meeting deadlines.
Act as the primary point of contact for both the Box internal stakeholders and Agencies, ensuring effective communication and project scheduling.
Work with internal stakeholders identifying and maintaining the creative direction through conception to completion.
Provide constructive creative feedback to agencies maintianing brand alignment throughout the creative process.
Manage the day to day logistics of crew and film equipment in studio and across the country (in-field).
Manage all elements of the Studio in RWC, including maintenance, organization, and crew allocation.
Maintain and report on video performance, metrics, and analytics for video productions.
Oversee media and asset management for all of Box’s video content.
WHO YOU ARE
Experience:
Over ten years of extensive video production experience, with a focus on managing complex video projects and teams.
Proven track record of successful studio and on-location video production up to and exceeding six figure budgets.
Strong organizational and communicational skills to coordinate logistics and engage with internal/external stakeholders.
Experience managing small and large scale video production budgets depending on scope and scale of the project.
Expert knowledge of video equipment, lighting techniques, audio setup, technical direction, and broadcast practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high production standards.
Proficiency in preparing comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs).
Expert knowledge of post production assets such as Adobe Creative Suite, Davinci Resolve, and Vmix.
Ability to source and secure contracted video professional talent and crew, with a long list of talented video professionals.
Ability to effectively lead, direct, and manage sourced talent and crew up to and exceeding 30 video professionals as needed per project.
