Primary Responsibilities:

Lead, Develop and Manage a group of engineers working on Mechanical CAD library process
Solve Component and MCAD library critical technical issues and mentor the team in technical problem solving
Manage and monitor KPI's/Metrics related to delivery of projects (Cycle time, productivity & quality)
Accountable for deliverables and facilitating the learnings from problem reports
Collaborate with cross functional design groups at LIGHT on requirements and problem solving at MCAD library and Component Level
Drive Continues improvement projects to enhance process resulting in quality, productivity and cycle time improvement
Should be accountable for team and process development in component engineering MCAD organization

Mandatory Skills required to performing the job:

Expert technical hands on experienced knowledge in Component Engineering and Component library management tools such as Nx or Creo.
Good mix of preferred technical skills along with people management of 4+ years
Hands on experience in vast data analytic and handling skills.
Hands on experience working on tools like FMEA, 5Why, Fishbone, Pareto analysis etc
Results & execution driven consistently delivers on commitments & stretch goals.

Desirable Skills:

Should have excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
Experience with documentation standards.
Experience with PLM, Library management and Various Industry standards for mechanical components
Excellent organizational, data collection and presentation skills.
Excel macro skills would be an added advantage.
Familiarity with manufacturing and design environments Should be an excellent problem Solver, Analyzer, Conflict Manager, Decision maker (will be assessed during F2F).
Ability to work with little or no supervision, Self-motivated, detail-oriented and passion for continuous improvements (will be assessed during F2F).Primary Responsibilities:
