Position: Engineering Manager

Location: Bangalore

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering with 14+ Years of exp.
Must have exp in Desktop product development.
Must have worked as an Engineering Manager in a Product Company in the past for at least 3 years, preferably having hands on experience in financial domain.
Should have experience in .Net, Delphi.
Master's degree in engineering, management or business administration preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
Experience with Desktop based products preferable from .net background and from Product company.
Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Serve as the engineering manager and hands on technical expert.
Create detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for engineering team to use and abide by.
Propose and oversee budgets and timelines for engineering projects
Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by engineering staff.
Conduct various quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects.
Monitor and determine various staffing and training needs
Hire, train, and supervise engineering staff members
Spearhead various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes.
Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers and contractors.
Prepare and deliver various engineering-related presentations, both internally and externally.
Answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the engineering team members.
