External Sales Representative

RPO Recruitment is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an External Sales Representative to join our client's team in Cape Town. As an External Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving sales and growing our client's market share in the manufacturing industry. We are looking for a friendly and outgoing professional with a passion for building relationships and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage with potential customers in the manufacturing industry
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
• Promote and sell our client's products and services
• Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
• Prepare and present sales proposals to potential customers
• Negotiate and close sales agreements
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' activities
• Provide excellent customer service and support

Requirements

• Previous experience in external sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus
