Client - Major Financial Firm
Duration - 12 + Months (potential for extension)
Location - Long Island City, NY 11101
Rate - $38.50/hr on W2 (OT past 40 hours = $57.75/hr)
Job Description:
The Analyst will provide project management and tracking support to the business leads of the project streams.
specifically he/she would:
- Prepare project plans working with the Project leads
- schedule and conduct regular tracking meetings
- maintain and keep the plan up to date
- prepare regular status reports for distribution within the team and for reporting upstream
- follow a process to identify risks and issues
- tracks the deliverables of the plan tasks and follows up for completion on time
- escalate if there are risks in achieving the plan dates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and work experience (2-3 years) required.
- Experience working in a similar role is required
- The project involves implementing financial platforms - ledgers, reporting systems etc..
- Experience working in a financial institution is needed.
- Further experience in similar projects is preferable.
- Working in a financial institution in a reporting function can be substituted for 1-2 years of the project experience required
