Principal Project Engineer - Process Engineering
Your role:
As a Principal Project Engineer in the Engineering & Technology Team you are a critical business partner to ensure we will meet our ambitious investment objectives in our Life Science business unit. You will support the preparation and execution of large, strategic investment projects as a technical expert for process engineering. The latter projects are usually large (multi-million $) and/or of a complex nature. You will support the sites and business stakeholders in developing the technical project scope and ensure seamless implementation of the most efficient, viable technical solution in alignment with internal standards and any binding requirements. At the same time you might have the opportunity to manage smaller projects from ideation implementation. You contribute to the execution of the LS strategy and strive for technological advancement by fulfilling internal customer requirements with state-of-the-art and sustainable solutions, leveraging the internal technology network across the whole organization. You will be supporting the North American region. The position is located in St. Louis, MO, USA.
Who you are:
BS or MS in process engineering, PMP certification preferred
You have ?8 years of professional experience in pharma (biopharma preferred) or life science, preferably in the area of Antibody Drug Conjugate (Client) manufacturing
You are fluent in English with excellent communication skills and have a profound knowledge of quality regulations
You can analyze situations and systems to develop or identify optimized solutions in line with project scope, time and cost
You have a track record of successfully implemented equipment or systems along the whole value chain from design, installation to start-up
You have significant skills and experience in project management and ideally a history of successfully executed smaller technical investment projects (0.5M$-10M$) as project lead
You work effectively, you are disciplined, and you have demonstrated documentation skills
You are inclusive and can identify required resources, internal or external experts and stakeholders
Additional needs:
Must be able to walk, stand, reach above the shoulders, use a cellular phone, use feet to operate equipment, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, hear, use hands to operate tools and equipment.
