  • We are now expanding our presence to the United States and opening our first US office in Dallas, Texas. This is an opportunity to build something extraordinary from the ground up and join the startup team of Betterware in the US.


JOB SUMMARY:

  • Betterware seeks a highly motivated and experienced Head of Merchandising to lead our product portfolio and pricing strategy. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude and will be responsible for developing and executing the overall merchandising strategy, managing the product portfolio, analyzing market trends and consumer insights, and managing vendor relationships. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high flexibility and adaptability.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute the overall merchandising strategy, including product assortment, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Manage the product portfolio, ensuring it meets customer needs and aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify new product opportunities and ensure the portfolio remains competitive. Work with global product suppliers as needed.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product development, procurement, and marketing strategies align with the company's overall objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address them.
  • Define and manage the sales and gross margin targets, and ensure that the product portfolio, pricing, and promotions are set up to reach those targets.
  • Work with third parties to design the catalog, providing layout and product claims.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or any quantitative field with relevant business experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in merchandising, brand management, product management, demand planning, purchasing, or related field.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude who can roll up their sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the merchandising process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data and consumer insights to identify opportunities and drive business results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high flexibility and adaptability.
  • Experience working in the home goods category is desired.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
