Event Designer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, vision, and budget.
• Create innovative and captivating event concepts and designs that align with client requirements and objectives.
• Produce detailed 2D and 3D event designs, including floor plans, mood boards, and visual renderings, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and vendors.
• Source and select appropriate décor, furniture, lighting, and other design elements to bring the event design to life.
• Coordinate and oversee the implementation of event designs, ensuring that all elements are set up according to plan and executed flawlessly.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of design elements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new design techniques, and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas to events.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Event Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing event design capabilities.
• Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong conceptualization and visual storytelling skills.
• Excellent knowledge of event design principles, including space planning, color theory, and aesthetic composition.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, creativity, and ability to think outside the box.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and vendors.
