An art director executes the details of the conceptual ideas set by the Creative Director. Art directors are responsible for leading their teams and creating the aesthetic of the piece. They see the project through the phases of production, edits, and final execution.

Requirements
Work with the creative team to produce new ideas and concepts and full projects for clients
Supervise and lead the department's daily workfow, assign project workload, and monitor deadlines and budgets and direct the creative team in the production of all marketing collateral
Collaborate with account executives to obtain knowledge of the clients’ requirements and oversee client pitches and proposals
Create and implement tailored project plans based on individual client requirements.
Keeping up to date with industry developments
Supervise and lead the department's daily workflow, assign project workload, and monitor deadlines and budgets and direct the creative team in the production of all marketing collateral with high standards
Overseeing the development of exceptional and well-crafted copy with copywriters that meet clients’ requirements.
Manage the creative process from concept to completion while translating the marketing objectives into clear creative strategies
Remain actively involved in hiring and training creative staff
Manage and cultivate the career development of staff members, including designers, art
Directors and copywriters
Mentor and encourage creative team members to foster a positive work environment
Work with internal and external strategic partners to create products using the most current
industry best practices
Obtain team approval of final layouts, storyboards, and illustrations; encourage members to provide feedback; and respond to internal commentary and requests
