Job Description:
we are looking for a strong Systems/Data Analyst (75% analyst role with 25% persistent engineer role) with strong technical skills around Informatica Products. We use Enterprise Data Catalog and Axon tool stack within Informatica Products.
Overview:
Support the Data Inventory/Data Quality team to enhance the existing solutions and provide integrations with other Enterprise tools for Meta data extraction, support the Enterprise Data Services team with the data lineage capability to understand the data end to end and assist in better Data Quality solutions. Support the agile team that is balanced with full stack engineering and data engineering. The team will also provide solutions that creates the best solutions with respect to Data Inventory, Data Profiling, Executing rules, Data lineage and transformations, integrations, automation with API development, Data Quality etc.
Role & Responsibility : - Provide detailed technical analysis of product or application hardware and software to ensure that business and functional requirements can be met
- Provide subject matter expertise for assigned project
- Perform analysis of system requirements, elaborate into user stories and acceptance criteria in an Agile methodology format
- Facilitate communications with different stakeholders for the product, drive the detailed requirements and lead review sessions of technical requirements/user stories.
- Be a technical liaison between the business requirements and the technical team by understanding the business requirements and elaborate the stories.
- Perform vendor management (Informatica and Active Navigation) by tracking different upgrades to the product, work with Professional Services and facilitate the communication between the vendor and Master card.
- Systems and Technical knowledge – constantly analyzing and innovating new, better approaches to our systems
- Ability to perform reconciliations with different data points and ability to reverse engineer existing work and document/present.
- Govern all databases in non-production and production environments to ensure all team members are adhering to various security policies and development practices.
- Seek out opportunities for continuous improvement, process automation and risk mitigation.
- Interfaces with business analysts, project managers and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
- Escalates issues to the right party when required.
- Participates in technical design. Can develop from specifications, under limited guidance.
- Effectively identifies and escalates issues as appropriate.
- Shares knowledge effectively with team members.
- Cooperates with and works effectively with other IT team members.
- Produces documentation for changes and enhancements to current systems under limited guidance.

- Ability to understand the input on the team velocity, perform PI planning for the team, elaborate the stories and continuously enhance the best practices around PI planning for the team.
PRIMARY skills:
• Proven experience in technical requirements gathering and documentation- Development Experience working on Informatica Products (Ex: Enterprise Data Catalog, Axon, Power Center, Data Quality, Data Analyst, Metadata Manager etc)
- Experience with data analysis
- High-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in a collaborative (Agile) environment
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong collaborative and organization skills
- 5+ years hands on experience with Informatica products
- 5+ years with Database Systems
- Experience with Data Warehouse concepts and methodologies.
- Understanding of the technical architecture, application landscape and IT environment, as well as tools used in development, deployment and testing.
