Position Overview
An IT Admin to implement, configure, maintain, and support IT assets within our company.
One who will support the company’s technology operations, and implement necessary IT assets, configurations, procedures, and systems.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in implementing IT policies and systems for a remote workforce that can scale with a fast-growing company.
Our goal is to ensure systems and people are effective and function within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of the company while complying to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
What You'll Be Working On (Duties include but not limited to):
- Support daily IT operations including account management, device administration, network administration, and software management
- Plan, design, and implement necessary IT assets to meet our growing needs
- Develop scalable and practical policies configurations for workstations and mobile devices to meet or exceed compliance requirements
- Manage our remote workstations and cloud solutions
- Periodically review device activities and logs to ensure our fleet remains operational, secure, and compliant
- Be an ambassador of best security practices across the organization
- Stay up to date with security software, vulnerabilities, exploits, incidents, etc.
- Manage and process device or user incidents
- Train and direct system users on the correct use of information systems
- Document process, procedure, and activities related to all IT systems
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify requirements and plan feasible solutions to address company goals.
- Work as tier-1 support to troubleshoot problems with information technology
Physical and Travel Requirements
- This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.
What You Bring (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- 5+ years as IT administrator
- Strong knowledge in computer security, computer networking, and cloud services
- Experience with managing a fleet of Windows and Apple devices using Microsoft cloud-based tools
- Experience with Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Desire and ability to learn new technologies
- Desire to be a part of a growing start-up and making it a success
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Linux
- Knowledge of HIPAA and GCP regulations, preferred
- Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, Google, ITIL), preferred
Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant fields, or equivalent experience.
