Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Develop enterprise test automation strategy.
Responsible for design and development of test automation framework.
Determine suitable testing/automation tools for the enterprise.
Conduct PoCs to verify new ideas/tools/frameworks/methods.
Review current automation framework and identify improvement/enhancement opportunities.
Develop and implement in-sprint automation.
Responsible for the setup and management of continuous testing initiatives.
Integrate smoke/regression/functional test suites in the CI/CD pipeline.
Continuously provide thought leadership and technical guidance to the team along with SLA , stakeholder mgt, Multiple application and stakeholder mgt, transformation.
Lead test automation innovation with continuously improving automation frameworks, methodologies, new technologies like RPA, AI/Client etc.

Primary Skills:

Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operation.
Expertise in one or more programming and scripting languages such as Java, C#, VB6, .NET and Ruby, JavaScript, Python etc.
Strong experience in Agile/DevOps delivery models, working closely with testing teams
Experience building CI/CD/CT (Continuous Integration) pipelines.
In-depth knowledge on TDD/BDD approaches, Unit Test automation, In-sprint test automation and test framework development.
Hands-on experience in test automation with Selenium and related frameworks such as Cucumber, JBehave, NUnit, JUnit etc.
Ability to build unit, functional and integration test cases at UI level and API level
Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical stakeholders
Excellent team player with a collaborative attitude.

Good to Have:

Expertise in setting up automation review guidelines and reviewing automation projects.
Hands on expertise with AI.
Python hands on experience.
Experience in Web Application and API development.
