title Change management Specialist SCOPE Reporting to the Head of End User Computing Delivery & Intake, the Change Management Specialist is responsible for developing change management and adoption strategies for projects related to
EUC Digital Workplace initiatives for employees of the Canada Post Group of Companies, with the objective of improving the end user experience and promoting end user adoption of the technology and services that are available to our employees.
The End User Computing Delivery & Intake team has the following mandate:
- Deliver strategic projects that implement change toward EUC's modern workplace vision, evolving the end user experience
- Develop and execute the digital workplace change management and adoption strategy
- Work with internal teams to prioritize and plan business requests related to EUC Products and Services
- Work with EUC (End User Computing) vendors to deliver minor enhancements to existing products and services
The Digital Workplace Change Management Specialist is a generalized specialist who will have the primary role of promoting adoption and understanding of new EUC products and services and will be an enthusiastic contributor to several strategic projects.
DUTIES - For each assigned project, become an expert on the business goals and impact of project scope on employees
- Collaborate with various stakeholders and develop change messaging that resonates with the target audience to support the successful implementation of strategic projects
- Develop and execute training for new products and services as required
- Develop adoption programs to help business partners exact value from strategic projects and proof of concept initiatives
- Develop ways to assess the effectiveness of these adoption programs on an ongoing basis, and report back to the various stakeholders on required changes
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Must Have - 5 to 10 years' experience in communications, change management and adoption roles specifically within the technology and IT services space
- University Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business, or relevant combination of degree and experience
- Communications experience that includes a blend of employee, corporate and adoption communications
- Strong Experience in contributing to project type initiatives - creating blogs, webinars, promotional videos, tutorials, case studies, white papers and wide variety of content such as template packs. Looking for a hands-on person.
- French/English bilingualism is a requirement for this position. The candidate must have very strong written comprehension and expression skills in both official languages.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Nice to Have - Experience working with and marketing collaboration tools and Office 365 will be viewed as an asset
SOFT SKILLS - Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent and creative writing and content development skills
- Ability to manage multiple work activities at the same time in a super-organized fashion
- Agility, patience and the ability to stickhandle work packages around (or through) hurdles, conflicting priorities and changing business processes
- Excellent grasp of customer acquisition and awareness-building
- Strong ability to effectively influence a diverse team of stakeholders
- Facilitate and encourage collaboration and work as one team
LOCATION OF WORK - Ottawa or Toronto (Ottawa preferred)
- As of today, contractor will work remotely. However, it may be requested to go onsite (March Road location), on ad hoc basis as required by the project
