Job Title:             Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant

Location:             Home based, UK, with occasional travel to customer sites.

Salary:                 £50,000 - £70,000 DOE

Contract type:    Permanent

About the role

Due to new projects being won, we are looking for a skilled Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join our team at ARO.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering effective solutions and support to our clients using Dynamics 365 Business Central. With the opportunity to work with a growing team with a focus on curiosity and new technologies.
You will work closely with our customers to understand their business processes and requirements, and then translate those into effective system configurations and customisations. As a Business Central Functional Consultant, you will work alongside our BC Lead Consultant and wider Business Applications team in implementing, upgrading, and optimizing Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions for our clients.

What you’ll do

• Gather and document client business requirements
• Design and configure Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet client needs
• Develop and maintain system documentation including functional specifications, wiki pages, and test scripts
• Design and implement platform configuration
• Provide end-user training and support
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements

What we are looking for?

Essential

• 3+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant working with Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV
• Strong knowledge of the multiple modules of Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Proficiency in system configuration, setup, and testing
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary

Desirable

•  Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into system configurations and customisations
• Experience in manufacturing functionality deployments
• Experience in jobs functionality deployments
• Experience in the food & drink industry
• Experience in data migration and integration projects
• Knowledge of PowerPlatform
• Basic understanding of Microsoft CoPilots
• Microsoft Certification within Dynamics or PowerPlatform
• Experience with Azure DevOps
