Basic Qualifications (Required Experience/Education/Skill):
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace OR Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and typically a minimum of 7 years or more related work experience, or a Master's degree in Aerospace OR Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior Aerospace audit and quality assessments experience.
Working comprehension of the requirements of AS9100.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Strong supplier quality development background.
Strong understanding of root cause and corrective action analysis and implementation of acceptable preventative action.
Knowledge of supplier quality system requirements, along with extensive process auditing experience.
Fluent in English in spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications (Experience/Skills):
Working knowledge of various quality tools and processes such as APQP, FMEA, and control plans, SPC, FAI, and RCCA.
Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9102 and AS9145.
Lean or lean six sigma experience (leading or co-leading teams with value stream mapping and shop floor standard work events).
Demonstrated knowledge of project management best practices and processes.
Experience developing supplier improvement plans and strategies, providing training, and coaching.
