Description:

TECHNICAL SAP LEAD
Top Priorities:

ABAP development knowledge and experience
Extensive SAP HR and Payroll experience
Management, experience leading large teams in an enterprise IT environment
Communication, ability to talk to technical and non-technical people across all levels of our organization, from basic end users to senior executives
Ability to speak to the business about process issues
Ability to negotiate with other managers to influence they need from their people when working on overlapping projects
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical development for support and continuous improvement work
Demonstrated experience with ERP implementations to manage and lead large development teams providing consistent, high-quality results
Maintain and execute processes along with meaningful metrics to measure and guide continuous improvement to meet changing needs and requirements
Review and approve detailed technical specifications for applications
Support internal or third party programming/development activities, including onsite I offshore communications
Ensure proper communication to all levels of the organization
Ensure adherence to change control policies and audit guidelines
Complete a variety of work assignments within structured deadlines
Assist with service pack updates
Responsible for all SDLC activities within a delivery channel
Identify critical development issues that could impact the timeline or quality of the program implementation, and present resolution options to the Delivery Manager

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology, or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum five (5) years of hands-on combined experience on SAP version 6.0 or higher in the following areas: ABAP Development, preference given for demonstrated experience in Object oriented programming, Web Services, Web Dynpro, SAP SRM, CRM, MM, SD/Project Systems modules
Minimum of two (2) years in a Supervisory role
Good working knowledge of SAP Mobile, Duet, and Gateway landscape
Knowledge of SAP HRMS and Financial global landscapes is a plus
Knowledge of SAP Data Services and LSMW's is a plus
Management of SAP Data Conversion teams is a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of SAP security/server/programming design principles
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong organizational, written/oral communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
Ability to work in a team environment
Able to work independently and communicate risks or potential problems to manager
