Systems & Network Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network and Systems Engineer to support and evolve our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Your work will have a profound impact on our core high-throughput, low-latency, 24x7 trading application, directly influencing our business’s bottom line smoothly.

In this role, you will:

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, SDWAN, etc.)
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS)
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including IP addressing, routing, and switches
• Manage cloud environments and systems (GCP and Azure)
• Manage AD, DNS, DHCP, KMS, NFS, DFS, SMTP, and clustering
• Oversee the configuration, installation, and maintenance of operating systems and enterprise applications including multiple SaaS applications
• Implement and manage security measures to protect data, software, and hardware
• Monitor network and systems for security vulnerabilities and maintain patch management program
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, system settings, and infrastructure inventories
• Ensure the integrity and availability of data through regular backups and disaster recovery plans
• Be part of an On-call rotation for systems monitoring and incident management
• Assist in the development of IT support processes and provide level 3 support to IT support staff

Key Job Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience working in Network or Systems Administration, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related field of study
• A working knowledge of IT operating systems, particularly Windows, MacOS, and Linux
• Deep understanding of Active Directory, and associated services (AD, GPO, DNS, VPN)
• Solid technical skills and experience with a variety of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN, WLAN, and SDWAN operations
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and diagnostic skills, along with good communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail and customer-service orientation, as well as the ability to work on a team
