Describe the Department
We are a versatile organization that primarily focuses on providing specialized support to the Siting organization to provide special support on Load assessment, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Hybrid projects. We are a 11-member team with high level of motivation and enthusiasm towards our work. We are in a journey towards growing as a functional relevant skills and are looking forward for the right people to assist us achieve our goals.
Responsibilities
You will be part of a team in performing the Loads assessment, load mitigation strategies with the help of various controller features and supporting the sales organization by providing site specific design assessments. You will also work on providing the site-specific power curve simulations and preparing the power curve documents to the sales. You will mainly work with aeroelastic simulation responsible for documenting and presenting your work in a precise way to your internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible to implement projects in alignment with TL/STL/FL. Contribute to process improvements with innovative solutions in order to deliver the projects more efficiently, enthusiastic participation in regular workshops and involvement in establishing the guidelines.
It is expected that you can propel engineering solutions within the area from start to end. You should be pragmatic and quality conscious. issues , a natural ability for innovation and thrive with varied tasks and constant changes from day to day. You achieve goals as part of a by collaboration and share knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders. You shall be result oriented with a solid focus on the task and to quality. Good to have experience like planning, propelling the project. should have open mind to learn & build your competencies.
Qualifications
M.Tech/ME in Aero-structural, wind or mechanical engineering
8-10 years of overall industry experience with at least 5+ year relevant experience within wind energy engineering
Programming experience in Delphi/ MATLAB / Python
Experience in project planning is an added advantage
Competencies
Proven track record in implementing the projects as per guidelines & processes from a load and control perspective
Hands-on experience on loads evaluation for standard platform turbines or turbines designed for site specific climatic conditions
Experience with the tools Flex5, Bladed or HAWC2 (aero-elastic simulations)
Solid competencies within innovative simulations of mechanical systems
Knowledge of turbine design standards IEC, DIBT etc
Knowledge of control of mechanical systems
Knowledge of wind turbine component strength calculations
Experience in scrum setup following milestones and meeting deadlines
