- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM– 3:30 PM ET or 7:30 AM ET – 2:30 PM ET
- Location: Southern NH
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

- Management of Special Education programs and facilitate communications between staff, parents, and outside agencies.
- Anticipates student needs for programming and coordinates program impact on budgets.
- Ensures compliance with NH regulations pertaining to children with disabilities.
- Demonstrates appropriate ethical and legal behavior expected by the school profession.
- Informs administration and education team of program recommendations; assists and coordinates ESY programs.
- Collaborates with principal and education personnel in organizing and coordinating grade level and departmental meetings.
- Assists in the screening, hiring, training, and assigning of special education personnel.
- Assist with training and hiring of new staff into a program.
- Acts as a resource and provides oversight for education personnel.
- Collaborates with building principals to review and evaluate the teaching staff to improve individual staff competencies.
- Directs and provides oversight/edits to special education documents prepared by education personnel.
- Assists in preparing annual special education budget.
- Plans in-service programs for general regular and special education teachers.
- Performs such other duties as the principal may assign.
- Maintains state certification through approved professional development activities.
- Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of bachelors degree
- Certified Special Education Teacher OR Certified Early Childhood Education Teacher
- May consider statement of eligibility
