Summary/Objective:
The buying coordinator is responsible for ensuring flawless execution of product from concept creation to sales launch online. This includes supporting the buying team with the product development
process for all VICI label product as well as managing PO creation, maintenance and vendor
communication for all styles in specific categories. The Coordinator is also responsible for gathering all product specs and sharing that information with cross-functional partners for successful online product launch. The coordinator will also aid in preparing the necessary documents as needed for pre-season and in-season assortments.
Essential Functions:
● Responsible for organizing product development process which includes, but is not limited to, gathering samples/submits for approval process from buyers, external vendor communication and internal communication with buying team to ensure timely and impeccable execution of product.
● Create accurate POs for seasonal assortment and communicate POs to vendors in a timely manner. Manage updates to POs as changes occur and is proactive about communicating when information is needed.
● Maintain correct item information, attribution, and delivery details for their assigned categories.
● Responsible for ensuring all product attributions (provided by Buyers) is uploaded and maintained correctly in Netsuite.
● Launch pre-orders for chase POs and communicate cross functionally in order to drive revenue.
● Responsible for updating weekly business review, quarterly hindsight, and quarterly pre-season investment review decks with data and images and communicating said insights as needed.
● Responsible for gathering specs for all product that is on-site and creating monthly merch doc for debut assort. Specs must be received prior to launching, uploaded, and shared with cross functional site team in order to launch all product with necessary specs to inform clients of key details. Responsible for meeting deadlines by communicating proactively.
● Support buying team on monthly debut assort process and work with sample team to ensure merch doc is ticked and tied before hand off to cross functional partners.
● Support buying team with business insights and proposed actions for daily, weekly, and quarterly strategy decks.

● Demonstrates knowledge of Microsoft Office, MAC and Google Products. Highly efficient in Excel and Google Sheets
● Knowledge of standard applications (Office 365, Slack, Chrome, etc)
Work Environment:
● Works in indoor/office environment.
● Sit for long periods, standing and walking intermittently.
● Use office equipment such as computer, mouse, etc
● Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds and may have to manage hung samples.
Education and Experience:
● Bachelor’s Degree preferred
● 1-2 years prior experience in corporate retail preferred
● Strong mathematical and analytical skills; demonstrated proficiency working with large data sets
● Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
● Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently, and communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level
Expected Hours of Work:
● This is a full-time position – Hybrid with 3 days in office per week (Tuesday through Thursday) requirement
