Opportunities
You will be involved in the planning and execution of pharmaceutical development programs for innovative products for the company, and working with a team of professionals to develop platform technology for the company. You will also acquire understanding of the scientific knowledge and technical know-how required for pharmaceutical advanced formulation technology. You will build up strength in the competitive environment of local and global pharmaceutical industries.
About the job:
- Lead a small team of Scientists to formulate new health products in various oral forms including but not limited to capsule, sachet, tablets etc. Laboratory hand-on work is required.
- Trouble-shoot technical issues in the technology transfer process.
- Communicate with various departments on the technology transfer development and commercialization of health products.
- Maintain the workflow and provide training to staff, including but not limited to sourcing of vendors of raw materials, developing formulations, scaling-up and performing technology transfer to production department.
- Perform literature search to support product claim.
- Support other R&D activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chinese Medicines, Food and Nutritional Science, Botany, Chemistry, or related field.
- Must have a keen sense of taste and possess chemical knowledge in health supplement, Traditional Chinese Medicine ingredients and tea.
- Basic knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine properties and function is highly appreciated.
- 5 years experiences in the technical development in food/FMCG industry. Leadership experiences in other related scientific area will also be considered.
- Good team working, time management, and multiple project management skills.
