The Role...
You will be monitoring the large-scale corporate system & network infrastructure and provide technical advice, and be the expert in design on the network infrastructure, including enterprise-grade switches, routers, APs, firewall, load balancers and monitoring tools. Responsible for the administration and maintenance of existing Servers and VMware Systems and day-to-day system monitoring and assist service desk team for troubleshooting and root causes analysis. You will help with the evaluation of new technologies and IT platforms based on business needs and assist in evaluating, developing and implementing technical standards and maintain the internal IT documentation including policies, system & network diagrams, etc.
Requirements
If You Are..
- At least 6 years experience working in system & network administration related
- Must have hands-on experience in infrastructure design, planning, installation, configuration and administration
- Sound technical knowledge in the following areas: VMware, Veeam, SAN Storage, Microsoft Windows Server, Linux/Unix Platform, O365, Microsoft SQL Server, LAN/WAN/APs/SDWAN and firewall, Cloud Platforms, etc.
- Familiar with at least one type of firewalls, such as FortiGate, Pala Alto, etc.
- Experience managing server room, data centers and cloud infrastructure including (AWS, Azure, OCI, etc.)
- Experience managing IT vendors and working closely with internal IT and business teams
- Experience with retail store network design is a big plus
- Experience with system security is a big plus
- Certificates in MCITP or MCSE / CCNA are a plus
- Strong analytical, detailed oriented and problem-solving skills
- Strong can-do attitude and fast learner
- Proactive with a strong sense of responsibility and result-oriented
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior System Administrator
- Degree / Higher Diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines
