Laboratory Technician

Currently I have an opening for a ­­Laboratory Technician located in Sturgis, MI. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:

• Conducts chemical and physical laboratory tests and makes qualitative analysis of materials, liquids, and gases.
• May also set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for research or process control.
• Perform analytical chemistry testing with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, etc.
• Wet chemistry analysis per pH testing, pipetting, titrations, filtrations, weighing compounds.
• Performed quality control testing of raw materials, finished products, consumer products (food).
• HS or AS degree with GMP experience or a recent bachelors in life sciences graduate.

Technical Information:

• 12-month contract with the potential for extension or conversion to permanent
• Onsite, M-F, 7:30am-4:00pm
• Pay: $19-21 hourly, depending on experience level
