Lab Technician - Application

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare evaluation samples with fragrance oils in various product forms. Notify
evaluation
team if there are changes or inconsistencies to samples
Set up stability testing samples and pull and desired check points for evaluation team
Examine stability for any physical changes and report findings.
Notify evaluation of stability checkpoints
Work with Applications team to reorganize base inventory
Pull necessary oils from the Kardex sytem for applications samples
Assist lab staff with daily lab functions such as restocking supplies, entering bases in
database, and cleaning dishware
Record keeping for weight loss studies
knowledge of use of pH meter and viscometer
Maintain a well-organized laboratory and inventory, document procedures, and update lab notebook

Requirements:
Degree in a science related field preferred or 3 to 5 years working in a lab setting
preferably in a fragrance lab
Basic math skills are required
Computer skill required . Proficient in Microsoft programs
