Designing experiences that fulfill the solution requirements provided by product management
Driving alignment with engineers and product stakeholders to improve the experience for customers
Negotiating improvements to the user experience with product manager, developers, and business stakeholders
Work with visual designers and engineers to make sure the team knows HOW the features will be developed
Creating design specifications through wireframes and visual mockups
Solving problems through existing design patterns
Document how patterns work
Be a part of the technical transitions to development
Be part of an agile environment
Create flows, sketches, personas, prototypes, wireframes and deliverables that guide the implementation of our proposals
Qualifications
5+ years software design experience
BS degree in Design or Technology related field
Expert level experience: agile methodologies and software development processes
Expert level knowledge: Information Architecture
Expert level knowledge: design processes, sketching, wireframes
Expert level knowledge: web design and user experience, including accessibility
Advanced skills with User-Centric Design methods
Experience with User Research.
Ability to communicate to all levels of users (internal and external), strong problem-solving skills, adaptable, proactive, willing to take ownership and to manage ambiguity
