Job Summary:

As the Production Manager, you will ensure efficient production, associate safety, product quality and adherence to established procedures. This is accomplished by effectively leading the warehouse, production, and maintenance teams which includes overseeing hiring, onboarding, performance management, and effective coaching of associates.

Must demonstrate expertise in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), creating and updating of practices and procedures, and ensuring adherence to this through maintaining a culture of accountability that engages and motivates the team. Focus on results as measured by key performance indicators

About you:

• Experienced leader, able to lead the warehouse, production and maintanance teams and oversee all warehouse operations.
• Able to manage multiple priorities, such as supervising shipping/packing, inventory processing, warehouse organization, online order fulfillment, and daily large shipments.
• Good with people and maintaining a consistent positive attitude; motivate team members by assigning duties to team members and assisting with tasks as needed.
• Prioritize a safe work environment by ensuring that team members follow all warehouse and production safety and sanitary regulations.
• Experienced at working with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in a food processing environment required.
• Strategic-minded in choosing challenging and effective objectives; ensure adherence to quality objectives.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and an excellent ability to troubleshoot and identify root causes of failures and quality issues.
• Value quality, reviewing production in relation to targets, reporting variances, and engaging in the prevention and correction of quality-related errors.
• Extremely reliable and responsible, able to be trusted with proper opening and closing of the warehouse and the administration of health and welfare plans.

• Passionate about developing your team, providing coaching, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings with team members.

• Knowledgeable about scheduling software or applications, preferred; capable of using scheduling software to schedule associates and manage daily call-outs.
• Able to regularly review and update SOPs and practices to bring them into alignment with GMPs.
• Have at least 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; have 2 or more years of experience in food processing or packaging preferred.
