Compensation range for onsite WA applicants is $70,000 to $110,000. All applicants are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain extensive knowledge of complex aspects of products and systems.
- Reviews customers' technical needs and recommends specific product/service solutions to meet these needs.
- Estimates costs and consults with the engineering team on technical matters, ensuring that proposed solutions can be integrated with current systems and equipment, and works with engineers from various departments to resolve problems that arise during and after implementations
- Answer questions on product functionality, integration, and usage and solve pre-sales support problems.
- Provide technical consultation and knowledge transfer with sales staff/trainers/product support.
- Provide marketing and client feedback to development and other groups as needed.
- Assist in technical responses to RFIs/RFPs.
- Perform customer site surveys.
- Prepare application turnover package to engineering after project specifications and details are finalized.
- Participate in project meetings to ensure that projects meet customer and contractual commitments. Is an advocate for the customer and works to resolve any differences of understanding with the internal team.
- Note that this role is not responsible to close sales, but will support the sales and proposal process.
- Modeling of machine layouts and concepts using 2D and 3D CAD software. Stay current with industry trends as well as develop and implement pricing strategies that are competitive with competitive market options and deliver sustainable profitability.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Global Business Development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry with working knowledge of regulatory pharmaceutical requirements.
- Specific knowledge and experience with design, manufacture, and integration of automated machinery.
- Experience with 3D modeling software.
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated history of strong business-related financial planning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite. Salesforce or similar CRM experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and motivate others.
- Ability to change direction quickly and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Irreproachable professional integrity.
- Demonstrated history of making good business decisions.
- Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, forthright, and thorough.
- Willing to travel 20% or more as required.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take and successfully pass a drug test.
This is a full-time position based in Tacoma.
