Job Description: Manual and clerical support in processing returned merchandise. 1. Inspects returned merchandise visually to determine disposition, including: a. Returning to stock b. Charging back to vendor c. Sending to liquidation section or repair facility 2. Reconditions merchandise being returned to stock, including: a. Unpacking, packing and labeling merchandise b. Replacing or ordering missing parts c. Cleaning and making minor repairs 3. Posts and logs data to media. 4. Enters appropriate routing information into on-line system, as required. 5. Works in returns processing activities, as assigned, that are subject to production and accuracy requirements. 6. Performs other tasks as assigned.
Position Comments: Good Attendance is critical. Please do not start people individually (do not start one person one day and one the next) Need groups of at least 3 people or more on start date. Preferably groups of 6 or more but no less than 3. Must be able to stand. Over time 5-3:30 M-F for 3 weeks and 5-1:30 on Saturdays for 3 weeks. This is a long train (40 plus hours of training needed) so attendance will be monitored closely.
