Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator

Floyd Family Orthodontics, a modern, all digital practice currently with four locations in Molalla, Happy Valley, Gresham, Oregon City, OR, is in the process of looking for a treatment coordinator to work in both our Molalla and Happy Valley offices in the greater Portland area. We are searching for someone with experience in orthodontics, who is enthusiastic and EXTROVERTED, and is looking for their long term professional home. The position will allow for flexibility in duties and the ability to be instrumental in the development of the culture and the future of the office going forward. As such, the ideal candidate should be well rounded and have a desire to form relationships with our patients, fellow staff, and the community. Beyond excellent orthodontic care, relationship building is our primary focus and is what's most important to us and must be for our new team member as well!

The person in this position will be expected to perform the following responsibilities:

New patients

• New patient calls
• Verify insurance benefits
• Call the new patient's dentist to check on pending treatment needs
• Provide virtual consultations
• Welcome new patients into the office and provide tours
• Take diagnostic photos, x-rays, and intraoral scans
• Assist Drs during new patient exams and maintain accurate dental records
• Review and discuss treatment recommendations
• Customize payment arrangements and present fees
• Coordinate initial appointments, including referrals to other specialists or dentists
• Draft treatment plan correspondence
• Follow up with pending patients

Marketing

• Facilitate relationships with referral sources
• Promote internal office marketing
• Attend community events

Hours and Days

• Full time (4 days per week). Alternating between two locations.
