Job Title: Sleep Technologist
Location:Binghamton,NY 13903
Duration: 13 Week
Guaranteed hours per week: 36
Pay: $65-75/hour

Duties:

Perform tests and procedures that test the brain waves and functions on sleep patients to perform studies and determine why they are having trouble sleeping through the night.
Review patient medical history and document their sleep issues, and keep records of patient progress.
Explain to patients the nature of procedures that will be performed on them and prepare them for the procedures.

Required:

Associates Degree or Certification from an Accredited School in Polysomnography or have met the grandfathering requirements.
Will take a NYS licensed Respiratory Therapist
New York State RpSgT
MUST HAVE THE NY CERT IN HAND
Previous experience in Sleep Medicine

Additional Information:

Night Tech positions are on a rotating day basis including weekends.
They work two 13 1/2 hour days followed by one 13-hour day.
The days rotate between the teams, and they do work weekends.

no on -call requirement •
